We are recruiting a Duty Manager to cover long-term planning, operational efficiency, and strategic growth of the leisure establishment based in Dorset.

This role focuses on improving overall performance, increasing revenue, and ensuring continuous improvement in guest experience, staff development, and safety compliance.
  
Role Duties
  • Develop and implement long-term operational strategies to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Work closely with senior management to align fairground operations with broader company goals.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining high service standards.
  • Develop contingency plans for emergencies and operational disruptions.
  • Oversee budgeting and financial forecasting to ensure profitability.
  • Monitor revenue streams and identify opportunities for financial growth.
  • Implement data-driven strategies to improve operational efficiency and guest retention.
  • Manage supplier relationships to optimize costs and maintain high-quality services.
  • Lead a team of supervisors, department heads, and frontline staff
  • Develop training programs to enhance staff skills and career progression
  • Conduct performance assessments and implement professional development initiatives.
  • Oversee customer experience initiatives, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat visits.
  • Work with marketing teams to develop strategies for increasing attendance and revenue.
  • Monitor customer feedback and use insights to drive improvements.
  • Comply with all relevant health and safety guidelines and company policies, use protective equipment (PPE) as required, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
  • Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct in-depth risk assessments and implement necessary improvements.
  • Oversee emergency response procedures and ensure all staff are trained in crisis management.
  • Work with regulatory bodies to ensure full compliance with amusement park safety standards.
  • Ensure the fairground maintains strict safety protocols for guests and staff.
  • Regularly review and update health and safety procedures in line with industry standards.
